Can i use honey apple baby wash on a new born?
QUESTION: Is it ok to use honey apple baby wash on my newborn baby? Will it cause botulism or harm her skin?
ANSWER: Hi,
It is fine to use honey apple baby wash on a new born. If you are using the products of Johnson’s, they are all allergy tested.
However, keep in mind that you are not supposed to use it every single day, because of the delicate skin of the baby.
You can use it between periods of one or two days. So,during these periods wash, your baby only with water at normal temperature. You can use this honey apple baby wash every single day when your kid grows a little bit, after his first birthday for example.
The explanation in here is that there is a difference between the skin of the new born baby and a baby at the year of one. As you may know, each of us has normally bacteria on his skin, but the new born baby doesn’t.
These bacteria are helping us for the health of our skin and they are protecting us from some thing that may cause damages.
The new born baby doesn’t have enough bacteria to help her and for that reason, you have to be careful with the usage of a shampoo like this.
My advice is to wash your baby with the same shampoo and not to change it, because the skin of your kid is starting to like this shampoo.
Don’t change the shampoo until your kid gets at the age of one or two.
All the best!
